The Ironman Zurich Switzerland is organised by a sport event agency named BK Sportpromotion AG, whih was founded in 1995. In 1997 BK Sportpromotion AG has acquired the licence of the Ironman brand in Switzerland. Beside the event in Zurich BK Sportpromotion AG also organises the PowerBar Ironman 70.3 Switzerland, the Triathlon Challenge and the Ironkids/Ironteens.
